Android tablet army

The Android tablets are coming and this time Apple won’t have a big head start. Will value tablets sell?
Dell’s Streak , a 5-inch tablet powered by Android, launched Tuesday in the U.K. and the device will come to the U.S. later in the summer. The Streak has integration with the Android market and a few other goodies that may attract buyers, according to Dell.

The TWEEL - radical new wheel technology

Michelin has showcased a potentially disruptive technology with significant ramifications for the future for mobility: an airless, integrated tyre and wheel combination dubbed the TWEEL (i.e. Tyre/WhEEL) . The Tweel promises performance levels beyond those possible with conventional pneumatic technology. Nano robots may treat patients in future: Kalam

Convergence of bio-nano-info technologies may lead to the development of nano robots that can help in treating patients, former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has said.
‘Nano robots, when injected into a patient, my expert friends say, will diagnose and deliver treatment exclusively in the affected area. Then it gets digested as it is a DNA-based product,’ Kalam said while addressing students at the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) here late Tuesday.

EA sells rights to Mass Effect film

Legendary Pictures has bought the rights to a Mass Effect film from Electronic Arts in a deal which sees key staff from BioWare signing up as executive producers for the project.According to The Hollywood Reports the film has already found a writer too - I Am Legend’s scribe, Mark Protosevich.
BioWare founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk will be involved in the project, along with Mass Effect game director Casey Hudson, all as Executive Producers. The film will be produced by Avi Arad, Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni.
