It’s been mentioned in the above given article that one can drag & drop music, videos, photos, even play lists… But the product doesn’t seem to have a screen where one can view photos or videos!! Can you please tell me how is it possible??!!

I see this line in your review. Great:) what is the use of copying videos to IPOD unwired. Will it play video? It does not have display.

Yes its written that way , I know it doesn’t have screen to see pics and videos .
its written because it can be used to carry data too i mean u can carry videos and pics doesn’t mean u can play them.
In short for can be used as flash drive too , if u want that is.

If it can’t play videos but just be used to carry data, then change the review accordingly. This is misleading to many people.

My girlfriend gifted me walkman unwired on my B.day since then i am listening music on my walkman unwired. while listening It feels like that you are clubbing somewhere in the disc or pub. I have explained it in earlier comments yet i am telling u this once again ,its a stand alone mp3 player , its not a bluetooth headset . it dose not work with any mobile phones.

Hi Sid…nice work….jus one query,,,,if somethin happens to the earphones,can they be replaced.? coz any earphones i use with my ipod go bad in say 10-12 months…so is it like use and throw,once the earphones stop functioning?

hi guys…. i have been using this cool gadget for past three weeks… sound is awesome as its written but the other plus point is that people ask abt this product whether its the new sony walkman…. thats not the case with an ipod where its not noticed at all now as ipod is everywhere and even the fake ones…. its worth all the money…. its much more convenient than other products which has wires hanging around….

Yes its entirely one device evrythings in a same.
And its always costlier in india due to taxes and all so its not possible to get in price which is given in Dollers.

I got this as a b day gift and lost it..dont ask me how coz i am clueless where it has gone..it was just a month old and i had not even registered it… i have the charger and the box left w/o my mp3 cant tell you how bad i am feeling..It was a amazing gadget..had become my fav at work/home everywhere … It’s cool..yes costly i wish it was cheaper so that i can buy myself another one without shelling out so much money
it’s got all cool features. but i think coz its too small and has a magnet in case it falls (i guess that’s how i have lost mine , in case no one has stolen it :()

a good gadget for music lovers in very low amount. i get many slaps by my boss (directer) because at the time of shooting even i am scrumptious to listen it.And i listen it.

i got mine today..itz pretty good but m totally unsatisfied by its bass!!to say it bass is TOTALLY NO MATCH for the sony walkman earfones forget ep 830….itz bass is like some ordinary china earpiece!!!otherwise itz damn good!
the earphones are not sweat resistant

this is not any bluetooth gadget….
this is just a walkman unwired…. the walkman is attached to the ear piece… the idea is cool… gadget is good… wud like to know abt the variants…!

folks i have bought this new sony unwired walkman but guess what ….the player is supposed to turn off it self when the two parts are united but after buying i figure it out that it didn’t work like i was not able to turn it off by jointing the two parts so i went to croma the place from where i bought it and he asked me to go to the service station and after 1 weeks wait i got a brand new replacement from sony.. but i got to share with u folks that all sony products are hassles in terms of maintenance they cease to work or malfunction at a certain point of time .. but nevertheless this wireless walkie provides an exceptional high quality sound unmatched and splendid.. go for it

I bought a new sony unwired walkman a couple of days back. But when I plugged it on to the USB port of my pc, it is not charging. Neither is the pc accepting the device. Wonder what should i do now.

Hi,I recently purchased this new Sony Walkman and I am quite impressed by it.Its main feature is portability and style.Well,its expensive as it consists 2 GB of memory,but hey innovative gadgets don’t come cheap.
Sound Quality - It gave smooth highs and decent mids.The Bass is tight but lacks punch.So,you will in a treat if you listen Classical,Accoustic Pop.But the performance of Hip-Hop and Heavy Metal or Rock Songs is not so great.
In my opinion “GO FOR IT” .It is expensive but is a great innovative gadget with good sound quality.And plus you will be stared upon like an alien if you show-off this gadget.

Sid … i got a doubt..hw can i register my product with Sony. I read the Brochure…but i access mail frm a cafe… so i cant take dat connector… Can i hav de exact website addr for registaration…
Its innovative and I like it but has not reached the point to which I would have loved it. Essential feature lagging:
1) Bluetooth comparability: For streaming music directly, and for transferring music form Laptops and mobiles on the go.
2) Expandable memory capability: microSD card slot and support for 8GB would have made this become the hottest seller in the market.
It could have easily beaten the iPod shuffle, or Nano for that matter, to the market only if it had bluetooth and expandable memo.

I was expecting a review at this site.But Sid(author) you have written the features of this device.Features can also be found at the official site of SONY.And the model is “NWZ-W202″ not “W200″.From the user reviews, “bass” seems to be the weak point of this gadget.But it is a truly innovative gadget.So, I am not a bass freak and I am going to buy this gadget as soon as possible.
hey Sid.im bharath.i bought this walkman 3 weeks earlier and after that one day i noticed that it plays less sound on the left side than the right side i took it to sony autherized service center and one week later they had gave a new piece(a replacement)i was very happy and satisfied with their customer care,the problem is when i took it to my home and connected it to my pc my pc didnt recognised it.like nothing at all.it isnt even charging.tell me wat to do man.i really need ur help.if u know any info pls post.thank u.i use windows xp pro in an assembled system.last one worked fine.pls help me.

Hi Guys… Believe it or not, I picked up too pieces (Pink and Black) for 20 Pounds each from Toys’R'US in UK, who were having a flash discount on these. Awesome creatures these are! Fantastic sound, very light and absolutely great for moving around. No fiddling with wires and stuff. Plus, the content transfer software is easy to use, just drag and drop. I love this gadget.
